The department's objective is to educate textile and fashion designers who, through research and development activities and the use of current practices and technologies, make sustainable contributions to the knowledge, culture, and technological landscape of the sector and its stakeholders at both national and international levels. These designers are expected to think critically, creatively, and holistically; embrace lifelong learning; and act with innovation, entrepreneurship, and respect for environmental and ethical values.
